Today: Vinted (full API integration across 22 locales), Plick (form pre-fill), and Tradera(server-side via Tradera's public API). Blocket and Facebook Marketplace are on the roadmap.

Vinted runs aggressive anti-bot detection (Datadome). Three things to avoid: (1) don't put "Saljbar" in your Vinted username or bio— the brand name itself triggers flags; (2) avoid posting many listings in rapid succession from a fresh account — pace yourself like a normal seller (max ~5 per hour); (3) if you're in Sweden, use a Swedish IP. Most bans we've seen come from one of those.

Plick is calmer than Vinted: no Datadome, just standard Rails rate limits. The extension pre-fills the form but never auto-submits — you always click Publish manually. That keeps your activity looking identical to a human seller.

Tradera publishes a proper OAuth-based API, so Saljbar talks to it from our backend directly. No browser session needed. Vinted and Plick don't offer that (or the Pro tier we'd need), so we cover them through the extension instead.

Vinted's public API doesn't support third-party developers outside of their Pro Merchant programme. To post on your behalf we need to act as if it's you posting — that means using your browser session, which only an extension can do. Same approach Vendoo, Crosslist, and List Perfectly use.

No. Network traffic from the extension goes to exactly three places: your marketplaces (Vinted, Plick) acting as you, and saljbar.se for our own queue and sync endpoints. No analytics, no third-party tracking, no cloud services.

Once a day the extension opens a hidden Vinted tab, reads your active wardrobe via the API, and tells Saljbar what's still live, what was sold, and what was removed. The Saljbar dashboard updates automatically. You can also trigger this manually from the extension popup with "Sync now".

Vinted's username endpoint requires a specific auth combo that their API rejects when called from the extension context. We're working on getting your real handle in there; for now we show your numeric user-id so you can confirm the right account is connected.

Never. The extension reads only your already-signed-in session cookie in the browser. Your Vinted/Plick password is typed into their login page, never ours.

Listings, photos, and account info live in Saljbar's Supabase database (Frankfurt EU region). We follow GDPR. Full details in our privacy policy.

Yes — open Settings → Account → Delete account, and we wipe your listings, photos, connections, and profile. Sold-item history we retain for tax-reporting purposes (Swedish bookföringslag requires 7 years).
